If you don't mind, Shiri, I'd like to suggest something.
You might want to abandon the connected stable idea
and go for a connected kitchen/backdoor using small window
shutters for double doors. IMO a connected stable would
have to be too small for the trouble (IE, one horse), but a
kitchen can be selectivly(sp?) reduced. Also, two suggestions
for the windows and line of color that I used in a recent
mission for Wild West. Under the cannon ball, try using the
1 by 1 with a stud on 1 side, I don't know why but this looks
best to me. At the top of my mission, near the roof line
(one story) I used a line of brown to off set my tan a bit.
I can see red or blue 1 brick high (3 plates), depending
on color scheme and brick availability.
I guess I'm just babling on what I would do, it is YOUR Inn.
Good Luck!
