Why why why. at home I am not aloud to build my parent say it is to babyish.
every time i get a catalog my mom tosses it out. i cant buy anything cause my
dad throws it out and says "i forbid you to waste money on shit". I now find
myself secretly building late at night or when I'm home alone. this is such a
load of bullshit. why why why. I cant take it. did or does anyone else have this
problem. what do I do? I hate this.

I've had people say things like "you're too old for that", until I tell them
about the creations the community does & the fact that adults work FOR LEGO as
the modelbuilders; then the questioning people usually think of Legoland parks
and say "Oh, yeah!"  I've never had parents throw stuff away on me.  I'm 29
(I'll be 30 Dec. 31st), and STILL am crazy about LEGO.  You can show you parents
internet sites like lugnet and other "Adult Fan of Lego (AFOL) sites so they can
see it's not babyish.  I hope they'll understand it's a great hobby.
