Re: A Gentle Plea —Frank Filz
(...) I wish there was less emphasis on number of posts. I have reduced my reading of .castle because of things like the roll call and other posts that just seem to be there to increase the number of posts. I want to see MOCs. I want to see (...) (22 years ago, 30-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A Gentle Plea —Alex Polimeni
(...) I didnt know there was an emphasis on any posts. Yeah, id like to see more MOCs, and storys, etc too. but we are not going to do that by putting restraints on posts and making everything that doesnt fit exactly into .Castle go to another (...)          Re: A Gentle Plea —Matt Hein
(...) Yep...creations as always good, and I'm working on starting a few projects as of now. (the dragon project is coming along very nicely as I devised an awesome angles wing system utilizing no hinges. Just have to finish the legs and tail... and (...)          Re: A Gentle Plea —Leonard Hoffman
(...) This is easier said than done. Also, from the web interface point of view (going to lugnet.com and searching about rather than news-server or whatever) stuff going into .castle.org.cw looks exactly the same as stuff in .castle. So creating a (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

(...) .castle. it is a project for .castle, like CW, IOM and the MM are. in fact, the MM is a part of CQ. Yes, i was overreacting there. Im not trying to say that "if it isnt my way, im leaving," but as i stated, this is meant for ,Castle. And, this (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A Gentle Plea —Alex Polimeni
(...) People may have more input to make the game, because there gamers, but it is meant for castle! it belongs in castle! It is the MM with rules and territorys! What i meant by it isnt just a game to me, is because it is different than your (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A Gentle Plea —Leonard Hoffman
(...) No it isn't. The Medieval Marketplace is a rough set of guidelines on building Marketstalls. It is not "rules and territories." There is no: * territory or realm to speak of. * no characters involved. * no interaction of any sort (aside from (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.gaming)

Re: A Gentle Plea —Alex Polimeni
(...) Im not saying the MM should have further rules. it only has further rules to people playing CQ. If you dont want to participate in the game, you can just have fun building the Market Stalls. No offence, but its because of this that this is (...) (22 years ago, 1-Feb-03, to lugnet.gaming)

Re: A Gentle Plea —Matt Hein
(...) Ah now, don't throw it at him like that! You may view this as 'just a project' but have you placed any discussion into it yet? This is more than just a project because we need the discussion, ideas and inspiration from a community project to (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A Gentle Plea —Alex Polimeni
(...) I dont think you complain to much! Okay, here is some good discussion about this: I have a quick-written version of the rules almost ready! I have assembled a team that will review the rules and modifiy them. Within a week they should be open (...) (22 years ago, 1-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A Gentle Plea —Leonard Hoffman
(...) Sir, if you re-read what I wrote, you will notice the words: "from a web interface point of view." I know nothing about the mail, newsgroup sever thingie whatever that would allow such filtering. From the internet, all subgroups of castle (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A Gentle Plea —Rob Doucette
(...) I don't think so... -.castle.cw should work, filter out .cw, leaving .castle as well as other subgroups. or you could do -.castle. +.castle.cw which should filter out all of .castle except .cw -Rob. (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A Gentle Plea —David Eaton
(...) Actually, Eric's entirely correct. On the 'top-tier' pages, the filters are used, however they're ignored when in a subgroup. Hence, if you're on (for instance): (URL) notice that anything set to skip in your filter settings gets skipped. (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: A Gentle Plea —Matt Hein
