  Re: Castle World is dead.

Sava: One of my primary rules for CW is that you do not have any rights to my time. My own laziness is an issue that is being addressed with the new proposal that Pawel and I are working on. Why Pawel? Because it was his baby to begin with. Why not (...) (21 years ago, 2-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

  Re: 3CS Corner City Gate

(...) Sorry about the picture quality. I meant to address that on my original post. It's what happens when you use a $40 digital camera :/ Hopefully I can borrow the office camera by the weekend to get better shots. I was just in a hurry to get (...) (21 years ago, 2-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: 3CS Corner City Gate

(...) - snip- (...) the 3C. I agree with you, the way you adapted your tower does show the flexibility of the 3CS. I was hoping I'd be the first to have a crack at building something in the new standard, but I'm glad you did. The tower is a great (...) (21 years ago, 2-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Castle World is dead.

(...) Richard, I'm sorry. This is not going to be a nice post. I've done my best to vent this elsewhere but I will not hold it back any longer. How much more slowly do you wish to go Richard? Look at the Castle World website. The last update was (...) (21 years ago, 2-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw) !!

Re: Nominations for the Castle World Committee

(...) I have an update on the part above. We have access to CW again. Many thanks, as always, to our gracious ozbricks hosts! Blame it on my poor record keeping and my glitchy firewall settings. Who knew?! -- Hop-Frog (21 years ago, 2-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

Re: Nominations for the Castle World Committee

All: We need to go a little more slowly on this stuff at the moment. There's some background issues that have come up and need to be resolved before moving forward. Whereas I thought the hosting issue was settled, I haven't been able to gain FTP (...) (21 years ago, 2-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

  3CS Corner City Gate

It's ironic, really. Here I am, one of the people who gave input into the Medieval Marketplace standard, and I haven't even got past a skeletal mock-up of what I'd like to create for it. And then along comes the Classic Castle City Standard (for (...) (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle) !

  Re: The Colonial Era

(...) Nice work! (And it's always good to see someone beating the redcoats!). I'm not overly familiar with the Revolutionary War, but I recall an image of a bluecoated regular (carrying a flag), a fife player and a drummer... I'm not sure where it (...)   Chapter 1 "defending Turf" is ready

Its here Chapter 1 of my story. (URL) Pretty cool. All picture are very beutifully edited and the story is gramaticly correct. If when you read it you wonder "why are there no quotation" its cause tripod doesn't allow quotations on a web page go (...) (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Nominations for the Castle World Committee

Matt, I think you are confusing something here. Ben M. mentioned that this committee should cover issues of the CBG. The CBG and CastleWorld are two seperate things. Castle Builders' Guild is an alliance of people interested in making and selling (...) (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

Re: Nominations for the Castle World Committee

(...) I'm unsure on whether I would want to let my name stand for nomination, though. Considering if someone were to second my name, with the lack of time I have to follow community events, I feel I might be ineffective in that position. 1 However, (...)   Re: Castle MOC: Windmill

(...) This is really cool. Its awesome how the grindstone really works. I don't think I can describe it better than you did yourself: "a neat, simple little castle building that would go well with a town." If the blades where a little bit higher up (...)   Re: Nominations for the Castle World Committee

(...) Well, I disagree with you here Ben. The CBG was formed as an alliance of people who are producing Custom Castle Sets such as my Peasant's Hut and Ben Ellerman's Woodcutter's Cottage (forgive me if I get the name wrong). Currently, Ben is (...) (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

Re: Nominations for the Castle World Committee

(...) I think the above system is fair and democratic. I let my name stand for nomination. I second the above names, plus Benjamin Ellerman. I also nominate Matt Hein, the co-curator of Lugnet.Castle, who is responsible for setting up at least 50% (...) (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

Re: Nominations for the Castle World Committee

(...) Ok back in the day (6 months ago) I met the criteria and made a ton of post about me wanting to be an admin. now i dont meete it any more cause i had to stop cause of school. so i now meet 2 of the criteria (as soon i I finish my big castle (...)   Re: It Has Started

(...) Will & Eric Thanks for the response and the advice. Soon Chapter 1 will be don and posted along with a Moc Preview (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

More MOCs than you can shake a stick at!

Well, I was browsing the Internet the other day, and I came across MOCpages again. It's a really nifty website, so I thought I'd just go ahead and make myself a MOCpage. WOW! Man that is an easy site to use! If any of you don't have a MOCpage yet... (...) (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.org.us.texlug, FTX)

Re: Nominations for the Castle World Committee

(...) I would definitely like to be a part of a new Castle World site. I think most of us agree that new community features could be incorporated into a website. This is what I am most interested in. I appreciate the story telling aspect castle (...) (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

  Re: What to Do?

(...) I need to clarify a few things. Matt created this forum on his own. Then he emailed me about it. I gave him suggestions and a fair warning of lack of community support. I informed him that most of the castle community prefers using (...) (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

Re: Nominations for the Castle World Committee

(...) I'll second Lenny, Ben Ellerman (nominated by Lenny), and you (Anthony). I think all three of you have contibuted tremendously to the community. ~Kevin Blocksidge (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)
