Princess Storm and Richard the Strong

It may just be my imagination, but... is there something going on between Richard the Strong and Princess Storm? Just look at the way they are gazing into one another's eyes in the picture on the front of the box for King Leo's castle. Still have (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Lego Legends

(...) Personally, I really strongly doubt that this kind of agreement was signed for the Harry Potter License. Sure, HP is a "big deal", but it is still pretty small potatoes compared to the marketing giant that is Lucasfilm. Lucasfilm is a much (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Lego Legends

Just came across this post in Space discussing the Star Wars deal TLC made: (URL) if TLC signed the same type of deal for Harry Potter as it did for Star Wars, then we may be looking at a long time without Castle. What, there are four HP books now? (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Lego Legends

(...) At the Brickfest Brad reported that it wouldn't be likely to see another castle-themed legend for another year or more. I forget his actual words though :( (...) Not sure they'll do any space-themed legends for the next few years, since either (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Lego Legends

Just speculation, but I suspect Lego Legends to run the gamut through city and space before it returns to Castle again. I have no idea what space sets they would reproduce since they really have no space line going at this time. Life on Mars is off (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)

NEW MOCS: a chalet, a yellowish castle and a pirate boat

Hello everyone! I've uploaded some pictures I made of a few MOCS: - A chalet - A yellowish castle - A boat Since we will be moving in a few weeks, I thought it a clever idea to take the pictures before breaking the MOCS down in pieces. Now I have a (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Lego Legends

Keith, So far, there are three Legends sets: 10000 Guarded Inn, released earlier this month (re-issue of 6067) 10001 Metroliner, to be released next month (re-issue of 4558) 10002 Club Car, to be released next month (re-issue of 4547) Lego Legends (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Lego Legends

(...) The original announcements will probably answer most of your questions: (2 URLs) in Germany, where they are in some retail stores, the only source for these sets is LEGO Shop @ Home. The only castle set re-released so far is the Guarded Inn. (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Lego Legends

I am new the Lugnet world but a long time, die-hard lego fan. I recently saw in the newest issue of Mania Magazine an offer for the Lego Legend Guarded Inn. I thought this was original to this set, but, when briefly scanning different newsgroup (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Tower of Orthanc

Thanks! If you were where Gandalf stood you'd be 500 feet from the ground. My tower has 8 floors, and is about 100 "lego feet" tall. So my tower has a ways to go yet. I didn't use a scale. I just used what pieces I had for the base and went up from (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Revamped Realm of Valkayria

(...) Thanks Matt! I think the elimination of the header-images really made the continuity a lot better. Those were some of the pictures I'd taken when I was first buiding my site and they weren't of the highest quality. (...) Glad to hear this from (...)   Re: Factions

(...) Those are good thoughts, and play right in to the rules of Brikwars!! But they are inconsistent with the way the Crossed-Ax soldiers are portrayed in the Lego sets. Anytime you see a crossed ax soldier carrying a shield, it is a lion shield! (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)

  What was in 0016?

I'm trying to get an idea what pieces came in the 1978 Samsonite set 0016. I've included a highly speculative inventory using Peeron names and part numbers based on postings in Rec.Toys.Lego and here, but I was hoping there is someone out there that (...)   Re: Revamped Realm of Valkayria

W<SNIP> (...) Hey Wilson! The "new" site looks great! Very well put together. I really enjoy a site that is consistent throughout, as in each of the pages in a section, or subsection, look similar to the others of that "type." Ie:All your character (...)   Re: Ninja Dojo

(...) Good job on the dojo. The backdrop kinda gives it a mountainous background look too. I understand what you say about sliding doors. I am on my third castle and still have not found a elegant, compact way to represent working sliding doors for (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Ninja Dojo

Here are some pictures of a Dojo I built a few months ago. It's missing a roof cause I needed the plates for something else but use your imagination. I tried to be faithful to what I read about japanese architecture. i would have liked to have had (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: Revamped Realm of Valkayria

(...) Thanks! I did do that logo back when we were coming up with CWSOTW, and just added it to my site because I thought it looked appropriate. (...) I don't think, or maybe I should say that I do think ;-). I don't have a Geocities account, but my (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Re: Factions

I think I will de-lurk for a moment and throw in my two cents worth. My "Crossed Axe" soldiers have always been mercenaries who have often been employed by the peasants to protect their interests or have allowed themselves to be hired by the Lions. (...)   Re: Tower of Orthanc

(...) Okay. (...) Thanks. I always like to try to put faces with names. (...) Room captain, were you? I guess you are the best person to address with questions regarding the Castle Room at Brickfest. Also you are the best person to correct small (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)
