Here's how I got started: Using the *text* editor of your choice (I use Notepad), open up the DAT file of the corresponding blank/un-patterned part (973.dat forthe minifig torso; 3626b.dat for the minifig head; (etc.)). (...) No. Although I am -not- one of the CADheads, my vote would be to keep the organization name/URL to be LDraw.org, because it honors James Jessman. When I started using MLCAD/L3P/POV-RAY, I had quite a few issues. - Installation - The existing ldraw.org was pretty good in instructing how to find and install these things. (...) Hey, this could work! I can spit .STLs outta Pro/E no-problemo. I do it all the time at work. For Steve, I believe the "STL" stands for "stereolithography". We generate these files at work and feed them into a stereolithography machine. It (...) (24 years ago, 22-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
