  Re: February MOTM Voting online

(...) And Jacob wins the million with all lifelines intact! :) I realized my mistake right after I walked out the door this morning. Thanks for fixing it for me. -Tim (URL) timcourtne ICQ: 23951114 (25 years ago, 25-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Using parts in p\48\ (was: part 2951, more questions, nearly done)

(...) Sure, no problem. I prefer to inline and find the true coordinates of the polygons in the primitives, though. There may be some small rounding errors both in your sine calculations and in LEdit's, and if they don't match, you'll get small (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Has anyone made any of the transmission parts for ldraw yet?

(...) You can use the 3739/3740 combo, as they are the same diameter as the 8880 wheels. Drawn by Chris Moseley, these parts are really well done, I'd say. How are you going to design such a large vehicle without any LEGO bricks to build with? (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Oh...and I'm going to stick up LGEO on ldraw.org with Lutz's permission. ATM, Lutz is in the process of moving his site to his own domain, and didn't see the value in getting his own site set back up IIRC. -Tim (URL) timcourtne ICQ: 23951114 (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Organizing the LDraw CD-ROM

(...) Well, I don't like the idea of asking someone to install runtimes before "my" program will work. It looks cheesy, I think, and unprofessional. And it certainly wasn't an option for the company I was doing this project for or for me, (...) (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

(...) Under Linux: "unarj x ldraw.exe", RedHat comes with the unarj utility but I'm sure you'll be able to find it easily if your system doesn't. Leonardo (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
