  Re: Diablo-style RPG?

I meant Diablo-style in the sense that it utilizes a top-down, 2.5D view (easy to do using LDraw. not so tough). I know where you can get the engine. You can think up whaterver type plot you want, I'd just like to see some interest in this. (...) (24 years ago, 14-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Do I use Dat2AutoCAD or is there a better way?

For a project I am working on, I need a picture of a datapad (which I posted to .models) with text displayed on its screen (and I don't mean a perfect front view). I rendered the model in POV-Ray, but have no idea of how to get the text on it, (...) (24 years ago, 12-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: shortcut - completed palm tree

Franklin, Well, I just called it "palmtree.dat" but since there is not an "official" part number for it, what about something starting with 25, since all the individual parts start with 25?   Whats the difference between 6218 and 6259 ?

I have a half cylinder 6218 in front of me. It looks exactly like the partsref image for 6259. Partsref does not have an entry for 6218.   Part number for baseplate?

I haven't seen one in years, but I recall that the Homemaker sets included a mid-size blue baseplate with studs along the perimeter and a textured but non-studded central area. Does anyone know the part number for this? Does it exist in LCad? Dave! (24 years ago, 5-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Part numbers master list ?

  Re: Overlapping linetypes?

(...) As long as the overlapping areas are coplanar and use the same color, this approach is valid. I frequently use this approach to draw rings, when there isn't a single ring primitive which fits my needs. Steve (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Edger utility available

Wouldn't you know it--there was a minor bug in the code. The edger in its first version would sometimes lock up when checking for overlapping lines in certain cases.
