Now that I have all classic sets and these 4 new ones, I can join the
quest to LDraw all those hefty new parts. Has anyone made / is anyone
making new parts? It would surely be nice to model them. Idea: I think
it would be handy to model the notched hinges in advance so we can use
them on all bricks and plates that use them. This way it should be
fairly easy to model these parts. I saw in the partstracker John
VanZwieten is allready working on these.

I'm on it.  I've got the serated edges finished, which I will shortly post to
cad.dat.parts for comments.  It was a challenge to decide just how to model
this one.  I wished I had a magnifying glass to really see the shape of the
teeth, but I don't, so I guessed.

I don't think the engine part has been claimed yet.  My "hack" is probably
worthless as a starting point, so anyone could take this one on.  It's a cool
part, but I want to do the hinges and the windshield first.
