There are part creation tips in the Ldraw FAQ, but a specific tutorial does
not exist.  To directly answer your question, a quad takes the form:
4 16 x1 y1 z1 x2 y2 z2 x3 y3 z3 x4 y4 z4
4 is the line type, 16 is the color, and then the 4 points (preferably in
clockwise order) of the quad.

Hi Everybody!  This my first Intentional post to this group, and I hope it is
in the right place.

I was wondering if there was an LDraw Part Creation Tutorial.  I made some
bitmaps of Starwars decorations, and I'd like to make them into actual parts,
but I need to know how to make the rectangles that form the blank surfaces.
Thanks!!

Jeff

P.S.  If anyone is really good at making decorated elements, e-mail me and • I'll
send you the images.
