(...) The single-character suffixes are used, not because parts have multiple versions, but because different parts sometimes have the same number. Though this a very old message, I would like to reply once more. In creating a model that uses this part, I noticed the second problem still exists. The handle is not broad enough. I don't know how to go on with this. The new minifig hands .dats make it impossible to fit in a minifig on the bicycle. Looks like we have to compromize one way or the other.
