(...) In MLCad under the File menu there is a command Scan Models. Click on that and the parts in your madel directory should appear under Models heading. You would use Scan Parts when you added to the Parts directory (i.e. when you install an (...) (22 years ago, 18-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Has anyone made this part: (URL) searched on Lugnet and the Parts Tracker to no avail and the part number Peeron assigns it is a completely differnet part in LDraw library. If no one has made it I might take a crack at it. -Orion (22 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

OK, I downloaded the unofficial parts files from ldraw.org and placed them in my "models" directory (so I don't contaminate my "official" parts directory), but how do I get MLCAD to switch to look at them? Nothing is shown under my "models" tree in (...) (22 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Creating Patterned Parts
 
Now that my first part has been certified I'm going to continue on my quest to get all the part for the UCS Tie Fighter created. I've been working on the patterned windscreen (part 2598) for some time now but can't get the angles for some of the (...) (22 years ago, 14-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) In my opinion, this may be a valid reason to put "(needs work)" on a part. Or perhaps that's even too harsh. However, I'd much rather have this version of the part than no version at all. (...) Based on the charter, cad.dat.parts would not be the right group (unless the tyre had been posted to cad.dat.parts, and you posted a follow-up to that posting). (...) Yes I got what I needed, thanks. However I voted "hold" on the part. The reasons I gave in the hold had to do with the sidewall bead width, plus I found another "flaw" which I need advice on.
