I get errors like this all the time in the new parts.  I had to make
it a habit of visually scanning each part file submitted to me just
for that reason.
I am sure that it is not the authors fault.  Long lines have a
tendency to get wrapped in various ways.
I remember I always had a real hard time with Tom Burger's parts -
somehow, his system and mine always seemed to conflict.  Just about
every part he would send me would get mangled.  And since his piece
code looked virtually the same as anyone else's, I just assumed that
something between he and I was screwing it up.

I'm probably as big an offender as anyone.  Something part-authors
should do (besides running their files through LDLite -G and L3P before
submitting them) is to either turn off line-wrapping in their e-mail
program when sending Terry parts, or send the part-file as a MIME
attachment.

Lately, I haven't been having too many problems.  That I can recall
anyway.  (inside joke to Steve <g>)
But you're right about it being better to send as an attachment.
Personally, I like zip files as an attachment.  Those seem to be
pretty secure from handling and transit induced errors.

Besides, I hate having to 'select all', then copy and paste, then trim
excess garbage.  Especially if there are a lot of files.
