I have a model that uses some of the small flex tubing (from the pod racer
set, to be precise, so it's black).

This model uses it quite simply! It's just a straight length, a certain number
of studs long. I trim it to the correct length before final assembly.

How would I go about modeling this tubing? Use a cylinder primitive? Or is
there a different way? The ends don't even need to be visible, it is just
clipped into a bunch of clips and butts up against bricks at both ends. That
means the hollowness doesn't need modeling.

Thanks! I bet this is easy for some people.

I've submitted the flex-system tubing for voting. Hopefully it will be in the next vote. In the mean time, you can grab them from: (URL) people interested in modeling _bent_ flexible hoses, I have a tool here (scroll down to the hose images): (URL) (24 years ago, 7-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)
