That sounds very reasonable. But the cylinder isn't a part, it's a
primitive. So to insert one, the user would normally use a text
editor of some sorts, not an LDraw editor. The user, being an
advanced user, would probably scale the element in the editor, hence
there is no need for scaling in an LDraw editor.
Well, the scaling function could always be added to an LDraw editor, I
suppose, but I can't see that most users would (or even should) scale
ordinary LDraw parts.
