Hey, Has anyone ever created a SimCity2000 or 3000 tileset using LDraw? I know that L3Lab is perfect for this (just remove studs & lines). We could create a tilesets for each lego genre: space, town, etc. I've experimented with this, achieving mixed (...) (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas) !

Hi, I was just wondering, Does a utility exist (either for .Dat or .Dxf or .Pov) that automatically eliminates all polygons that are not visible? I thought this might cut rendering time in POVray, and I'm trying to export *.dat files to other (...) (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) I use LEdit as my primary modeling tool, L3Lab for explorative viewing and LDLITE for final high quality rendering. Well... In an interesting question and answer session I had originally with Brad Justus, it came to my attention that TLC did not approve of the 3D red brick ldraw.org logo. Brad checked with the corporate counsel about the logo, and relayed the (...) (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.events, lugnet.cad) !
