  Group project, anyone?

Hey, Has anyone ever created a SimCity2000 or 3000 tileset using LDraw? I know that L3Lab is perfect for this (just remove studs & lines). We could create a tilesets for each lego genre: space, town, etc. I've experimented with this, achieving mixed (...) (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas) !

  eliminating polygons?

Hi, I was just wondering, Does a utility exist (either for .Dat or .Dxf or .Pov) that automatically eliminates all polygons that are not visible? (...) I use LEdit as my primary modeling tool, L3Lab for explorative viewing and LDLITE for final high quality rendering. (...) Mike, One small bug I notice, is when you use the keyboard command I, it launches the part window vs. starting a new part like in LEdit. P also launches the part window (as it should). -Tim (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Special Thanks!

I would like to mention that the new tool-bar icons of MLCad V1.9R4 have been drawn by Mogens Sorensen and I think they are realy nice! In this way I say "thank you very much" for doing this. Michael (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  ldraw.org Logo Change

Well... In an interesting question and answer session I had originally with Brad Justus, it came to my attention that TLC did not approve of the 3D red brick ldraw.org logo.   Re: LDView (formerly L3DView) v0.6 released

OK, I think I tracked down the cause of the problem. It may take awhile to fix, though. I am currently doing something you're not supposed to do: making OpenGL calls without first telling Windows that I am going to make OpenGL calls. This apparently (...) (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)

Re: New part (in progress): 6085  [DAT]

Today's progress... Still need to do the inside of the front bit and some other sections. I'm also not sure how to do the base of the frontmost studs of the 2x2 section.
