    My top 10 —Jacob Sullens
this is where I will post the best(IMO) mecha I have seen around here I wil post them with the site and maker 10. (URL) Mladen Pejic 9. (URL) Kunimasa 8. (URL) Colin Gutierrez 7. (URL) Todd Amacher 6. (URL) Mark Sandlin 5. (URL) Ben Vaughn 4. (URL) (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: My top 10 —Dave Johann
Jacob, While we appreciate your fervor over all things mecha, a top 10 list is really much more appropriate for a section on your own website. Many people would be upset seeing a list of this nature without their own name anywhere on it. Not only (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

LUGNET Awards? (was: My top 10) —Peter McLoone
Do you have any idea what you've just prompted? Of course this may have already come up a long, long time ago, but I may as well state it, had it not been stated before. What am I talking about? LUGNET Awards... LUGNET has become a big name in Lego, (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: My top 10 —Christopher Snead
(...) A "Top Ten" mecha list without Eric Sophie or Brian Cooper on it is like a "Top Ten" doughnut list without "Krispy Kreme Doughnuts" on it. There are too many great mecha builders to try and fit onto a "Top Ten" list... Chris (22 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: My top 10 —Dave Johann
(...) That's exactly my point, Chris. Such a listing is subjective and completely unatainable because everyone's criteria for a 'Top 10 list' is different. Someone might form a list around humanoid looking mecha, while another might form a list of (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: My top 10 —Drew Lawrence
(...) Exactly. I myself disagree with the top 10 list because I personally dislike humanoid mecha, instead prefering more vehicle-looking mecha, such as the Locust, the AT-ST, the Rifleman, stuff like that. `Drew (22 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: My top 10 —Bryce McGlone
(...) Jacob, While I understand that to you this list is a form of praise I do not share your view.          Re: My top 10 —Jeff Stembel
(...) Jeez, he posts an opinion, and gets attacked for it. I find that really sad.       Hey Jeff, I gotta say I do understand what you are saying, but I think the fact remains that Bryce has been around alot longer and he just probably thought the list did'nt make sense to him.           Re: My top 10 —Mark Sandlin
(...) I think, from looking at Jacob's list, that he prefers Gundam-style mecha. Your stuff is sort of big and biomechanical-looking, but definitely not Gundam. :^) Don't sweat it.           Re: My top 10 —Peter McLoone
I completely agree, he phrased everything as it was coming from his point of view, and he was merely trying to start discussion about what other people thought was the best out there.           Best mecha out there —Dave Johann
      (...) Hey there, Pete!
