Hey I finally got back to this post:
First off Jacob: my apologies. I sent a private email, but @home is dead.
Here's the email for everyone to further pick apart:

Hey Jacob,
Hey I’m sorry about my rude post on Lugnet. I never word things correctly. I
know you had nothing but the best intentions posting your list.
Unfortunately in the background a couple of my buddies got hurt and such. In
turn I got a bit (mind you only a bit) mad and posted as such. I didn't
explain myself to you which was not cool at all. The whole thing should have
been a private email.
In real life I’m not such an Ogre. And the reality is that I’m
flattered that I was on your list (even if you didn’t use my favorite model
-) )
In the end I hope we can forget this unpleasant episode and carry on as
friends. I really like the newer mecha builders and hope to see some MOCs
from you soon.
BTW I’m sending this privately because I’m sick of everyone and his mother
replying to my post. People who rarely if ever post in .mecha feel compelled
to tell me how wrong I am to be so mean.
Anyway enough jabbering. I’ve attached a couple REALLY, REALLY bad pictures
of my new project. Kind of a sneak peek if you will...they are of the
removable calf armor on my mecha. Of course I’m hoping that in some weird
way this will serve as some sort of proof of how bad I feel about my
comments towards you.
All the best,
Bryce

Anyway lets all move on.

Tim,
I have no idea why when you don't post in mecha nor build mecha you feel
compelled to comment on what is happening in the mecha group. IMO you're
trolling for a fight. If you're going to comment in a group at least have
the decency to BE part of that group. I'd love to disagree with you more
however here I DO agree with you. I was a jerk. So see? You win and I win.

Second the Ego comment kind of got me thinking. Isn't it all right to love
building AND want praise? Your comment makes it seem that being proud of
what you build is evil. I say it's normal for others to want to know what
people think of their stuff. Further I say most people want praise when they
share not critisism. That's the whole reason for hobby/ artist groups
everywhere. Right? A bit of inspiration, a bit of support, a dash of
praise...bake for 20 min and BAM Lego MOC!!!

On a final note don't get all pissy with me. I can post my opinion too. You
don't have to like it. Let's just be friends. When I see you at BW I'll have
a big ol' brotherly hug for you and maybe a couple Italian style manly kisses!

Stick with the Brick!
Bryce

Hi Bryce - (...) I wasn't totally comfortable myself barging in here and commenting, but seeing the reception Jason got for his post made me want to throw my own two cents in. Also, I've been in debate mode for about a week now, if you haven't seen (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Bryce- You may participate more in a forum than others, but there is no special recognition or status for doing so. Further, no one is required to post MOCs just to earn the priviledge of participating in a discussion. Because this might be (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Bryce- Please don't take offense to my chopping up your post like this. I think it important to discuss some issues and I think your post is the best solid example of some of those issues. (...) (...) Hi Jacob - Don't feel bad that you made that post. Its not your problem if people got offended by your opinion. I hope you keep posting your opinions and praise of others' work on LUGNET and don't get discouraged because of this incident. I (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
