Hey there, Pete! I love the idea of a discussion about the best mecha
creations, It's a listing that should bring out some obscure designs that
haven't been seen for a while, but are still cool nonetheless.
I'm not certain that your idea about choosing the best mecha from a single
builder is workable though. For instance, who decides what Mladen's 'best'
work is? Mladen's opinion on this differs greatly from mine, yet we're both
right depending on the criteria used to judge the list. Also, if a builder
only builds one mecha, is that his best work? Or is his best work still in
his head waiting to take brick form?
I guess what I'm saying is that such a list is subjective and is too
open-ended to be very useful/informative. It's a good idea who's time will
come, but one that we'll (as a community) need to take baby steps to create.

Sadly some people took it as an insult and it escalated from (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
