Actually, I've found those ball joints in the Bionicle and Technic
Stormtrooper and C3-P0 sets to be very useful at the hips, shoulders, and
ankles in several of my recent mecha and large droid designs such as the
Perseus, Thunderlasher, Silverback, Fenris, and Quadracnid. You should
consider trying them.

(...) Oh, no doubt! I wasn't implying that the part is useless, or anything; Mark was talking about getting large quantities of them, and I figured if he was already buying the Bionicle sets, he could simply pull them off of the front, because (...) (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
