Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

:P

Please let me know what you think!

Eric Sophie

You’re too sly Eric... you know how to build Gundam after all! Stop fooling us! Show us what you got up that sleeve of yours.

Awww, swizzle sticks, I was just thinking about you!

Hahahaha, to tell the truth, I always wanted a distinctive Anime looking Mecha in my Biomechanical Ranks. This did it for me.

   ;-p

I gotta say Eric, this is one of your best mecha yet.

Thanks, I feel much the same way. I am very happy with it and proudly so.

Hmmm... Maybe I’m just liking it so much ‘cause of the drab, “military”, dark grey and the whole Gundam look.

I really had to dig around to find certain parts for it. Taking apart Mech Bay 07 was a good thing. I needed the bricks.

That said, I can totally see your own little motifs dispersed in select areas. Heh, the skinny, sucked-in torso/belly is classic Sophie... All your bots must have a penchant for gymnastics and such. ;-)

You know how many of the Japanese builders add a protruding chest, reminisent of combiner mecha, well I could never get myself to do that, so I guess the abdomen comes out the same, sleek and lean.

What stands out the most for me, are the feet, shoulders, head, and fingers. Those are all nicely done. BTW, does the torso have a cockpit for a minifig or minifigs?

Yes. It has a pilot. Plus in the back, I kept trying to build a jet pack or coms pack and it never looked right, so like a skilled surgen I added a Brain Case put some greebs, closed up and exited. I’ll get some pics up soon.

The feet, hands and head were all triumphs for me. The shoulders were a fun excersize. I don’t build them like that to often. It was fun.

I know this is wishful thinking on my part... But will we ever see this badboy decked out with shoulder-mounted 120mm autocannons, missile canister pods, radomes, mortars, machineguns, and maybe a pulse laser rifle? I know you’re a pacifist Eric... BUT come on... It’s just begging for it!

Believe me I almost did. Infact I almost sent Soren an email asking him to name it for me. I was a little stuck.

   OR

Lend it to Soren for a week of something, I bet he has tons of mecha weapons lying about, just itching to be put on something this big.

Like rocket hammers....kkssssshhhhhhhh--khhhrrruuuhhhh!

   :-D

Anyways, keep up the awesome work Eric. It definitely inspires me to build again (and I will... soon).

Now that’s what I’d like to hear! (see) Later, I have to go and teach Lego Class.
