(...) Did you really get a 20 inch mech to support its own weight using only rotating click hinges? Really? Are you serious? No, really? That's a rather tricky thumb, as well. So you say both the heel and the toe pivot? Maybe future pics will make (...) (19 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Right on right on E. I got to say, I'm loving the CUB. There's a lot of brickwork here that I'm loving. The hip especially, the angles and shaping of the body. That's where Mecha meets sculpture right there. Very impressive with the click hinges, (...) (19 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) You're too sly Eric... you know how to build Gundam after all! Stop fooling us! Show us what you got up that sleeve of yours. ;-p I gotta say Eric, this is one of your best mecha yet. Hmmm... Maybe I'm just liking it so much 'cause of the (...) (19 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Right on man! I was cruising Brickshelf thinking, "Man, I haven't seen anything new that's caught my eye in a while..." then I see this dark grey head. I think, sleek design, good photography, I'll give it a look-see... and then I notice (...) (19 years ago, 16-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

It's a Sophiesque Gundam! Like the head & some of the slope stuff going on. Overall has that slouched look that Mark refferend to. Would love to see the hips up under the waist a bit more, but havin' them come out the sides is pure Sophie. I'd like (...) (19 years ago, 17-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Well I'm late, but I have to say well done. (...) I'd like to see the foot in disasembly. (...) You already mentioned, that you added breaks, but I still can't believe rotational click hinges support such a giant. You may say it's a small (...) I like it - refreshingly different from the usual Sophie-mecha. Not sure I like the idea of using such weak joints for something so massive, but it clearly worked out for you. Soren (19 years ago, 19-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Though more of a sculpture, without the joint mobility and Technic drive gizmos, it's an interesting design exploration. The head is still somewhat insectoid, but more armored. It looks like something I'd build. The body looks heavy and tough. I can (...) (19 years ago, 28-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
