I don't know if there are any in current sets (they'd be Technic), but PITSCO/Lego Dacta (what would I do without them? :)) sells packs of one hundred and eight for roughly seven bucks. They've also got tread links, BTW. Take care, Soren (21 years ago, 3-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I always wanted that one too! about 1 1/2 months ago I was able to get a blue max sterling robotech reissue-it comes in a 'book' like package & was about $80 at my comic store. it came with a little pilot fig for the cockpit! (...) The G1 Transformers like Starscream were a heavy influence on this design. The way the cockpit folds, the position of the nose, and in a small way the way the arms fold were influenced by the design of those old Transformers. Like you say, the (...) (...) Hi Adrian, Wow, that looks great! I'm amazed at how much detail you packed into it while keeping it at microfig scale. I'm often asked how my latest mecha or space build went and many times I reply that it just didn't work out and that the item in question has become a prototype. sailor moon would be like 200,000,000,000,000 (2 hundred thousand billion or 2 to the 14th power) times better if they ALL were killer robots! ;-P this model rocks, i really enjoy the female mecha variants like this one, Soren's "Fatima" model, Gla (...) (...) Eric, it looks to me like your whitepoint is measuring for daylight, which gives a yellow cast under incandescent light. Some cameras come with AUTO settings which should compensate somewhat under a variety of conditions, others come with more (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Eric, This looks interesting. One thing that confuses me, though - what's up with the dark pictures? I noticed that the pic of this mecha and classic space bot that you built were photographed in very dark conditions. In the past (with the little (...) Okay Frank, here's my thoughts: I'm feelin' the mohawk! This is brilliant and AKAIAC, the best part of the mech. It compliments the rest of the mech well-it helps accent the bulky feel of your design. That said, I can't say I like much else on the (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I just recently finished this mech. I built it so my other Medium mecha had a counterpart. I am mostly proud of the head design. I got the idea of using the "mowhawk" from watching 'Mad Max' the night before :) The leg an arm design are similar to (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I made this mecha from my bot factory at work, drew it & transferred it to MLcad at home, since I don't have a camera at work. It's supposed to look like Kranix/Morbelus, the robotic people that get attacked by Unicron at the beginning of (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mecha)
