Four New Mechs and four ships @ Lego Base

After "re-constructing" Lego Base, I've pumped out new pics of a bunch of mechs. The ships were already @ Lego Base although you may want to see them again.Check them out here: (URL) Bear ICQ:84584424 AIM: DaGlassAWasta (URL) (23 years ago, 16-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  ZZ-56 spy ship reprise!

(URL) we go, a new little ship that appeared last August as a civilian ship, but our soucres say that the basic design has been transformed into a high flying surveillance/spy craft.   A Confession and an Apology

This message was supposed to be posted last week but I had to leave for camp before I recieved my confirmation e-mail, so here I go...   Re: LEGO hose question

Try (URL) made by John VanZwieten. BTW you shouldn't post this to lugnet.build.mecha, you should have posted it to lugnet.cad. I'm still sending this to lugnet.build.mecha, but just so you can find it. (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.cad)

  LEGO hose question

A question for all of you who use flexible hoses in your DAT files (the kind which have separate pieces for the ends and segments for the middle) - what's the best way to model these? I don't think I want to sit there and position 25 little knobby (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Building my first Mecha with an RCX - advice please?

Edward, (...) You may find this site of interest: (URL) site's dedicated to RCX-driven bi-peds of all shapes and sizes. Some are rather humanoid, which is what I suspect you want, but some are more tank-like, which, to my mind, anyway, still qualify (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Building my first Mecha with an RCX - advice please?

(...) Hard long thought... ... my creative side says "The Head" but my technical side says "The Legs" - you gotta walk before you can run (and hunt and kill and destroy). (...) Thanks - let's wait and see how I go. (...) I guess that primarily two of the motors would handle the legs or wheels for direction. Next I'd have at least one motor to raise or lower arms. Of course I hadn't forgotten the head - so I'd use a (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
