Try http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Fields/1864/hoses.html, made by John
VanZwieten.

BTW you shouldn't post this to lugnet.build.mecha, you should have posted it to
lugnet.cad. I'm still sending this to lugnet.build.mecha, but just so you can
find it.

Mladen Pejic, over and out!

In lugnet.build.mecha, Eric Pierce writes:
A question for all of you who use flexible hoses in your DAT files (the kind
which have separate pieces for the ends and segments for the middle) -
what's the best way to model these? I don't think I want to sit there and
position 25 little knobby things to try and get it to curve around the way
it's supposed to. Is there, by any chance, a utility out there that lets you
say "one end here, the other end here, and then fill in the rest"?

If not maybe I should try to write one :)

Eric

For modeling bent hoses, you could also use LDraw-mode: (URL) (23 years ago, 15-Jul-01, to lugnet.cad)
