Just when I think I'm getting really good at making models, you come along and destory my ego :) I really do like the new layout and of the course the models. I'll be going it in depth later tonight. Some of your links to the DAT Specifications files (Destroyer "Stormer" Class for example) don't work. The link goes to "stormer.dat" when the file is actually "stormer.DAT". Great work on the site and the models! (...) in (...) (25 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.build.mecha)

Well, inspired by the prospect of a "brickwars" event here in New England, I built a first draft of a mech: (URL) still needs more weapons (and that laser arm needs some improvement) but I'm pretty happy with him overall... I'm working on a new mecha design which is coming along fairly well. Anyways, I have become frustrated with the 4x4 turntable part that I am using as the waist. At first, I had designed those pods as engines, but a friend of mine said they looked like heavy LRM pods, and I thought it was a good suggestion, so I guess they're missiles now. :^) I would have liked to make the legs better-looking, (...) Thanks a lot Jeremy. This model was actually first designed on paper and then made. I'm really happy how it turned. Oh, and I was looking at the other pics on his site (he apparently takes a lot of inspiration from Gundam... me too!) and he had one where he used some ThrowBots pieces to build a skeleton.
