BTW, it might be that the recursive inliner isn't locked up, it's just
slow. I need to put a progress bar on that thing...

Hmm. Are you rendering with LDLite? LDLite has a few bugs WRT MPD
files. L3Lab and MLCad are better bets, MPD-wise.
