The 4x4 turntable has one very cool feature... it has a hole running through
the center that is the same size as a technic hole. One thing I have done is to
use a series of small technic pieces to lock one end of a small rubberband on
each side of the turntable. This is just enough to keep the torso fairly well
centered, but still allows you to twist the torso when needed (for photographs,
a 1x1 round plate can be used in a strategic place to lock the rotation).

| I'm working on a new mecha design which is coming along fairly well. Anyways, I have become frustrated with the 4x4 turntable part that I am using as the waist. Does anyone know how to tighten this part or have a different idea for a waist? Travis (...) (25 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
