  Re: Super Robot 12

(...) Once again, your creation succeeds to impress! I like the rounded evolution of the Teknomeka. I feel a little dumb commenting specifically on such a small detail on such a huge mecha, but I liked the little AT-AT viewport printed slope you (...)   Re: Nwe MOC: Goliath

The jointed feet really show the effectiveness of the concept: (URL) They seem to have forced the ankle joint halfway up the calf, which is a little weird, from a humanoid standpoint, but works for a mech. The waist and hips are a real worm gear (...) (19 years ago, 11-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Nwe MOC: Goliath

(...) Hey, this is interesting - it caught my eye on Brickshelf. I imagine that, being "only" 19 inches tall and loaded with worm gears, this model is pretty stable. I was a little perplexed at first by the wide hips, but now I see this is more of a (...) (19 years ago, 11-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Hi Danny. (...) I see what you mean but I wanted to have an insectoid touch to the face. And second I think the head would get too wide if the eyes faced more forward. (...)   Re: Nwe MOC: Goliath

Hi, About the mecha, I concur with Eric, that the greebling really shows off this mecha. Though I have to be honest, there is something about the face which seems off - I think the eyes could be a little more forward facing. It is also really worth (...)   MC7 ZRX1 "02" Pictures * Informational Post Only *

Last night I was a guest on the FJSradio.com online talk show. Amazing! There is so much to say about this build. Where do I start? The Head: Wow, talk about grills! The shape of the back of the head is cool and you hinged the dishes for the eyes! I like it.   Re: New Mecha: Talon

Ooh - snakes head? that would be an interesting mecha, maybe you could still pursue building one with that goal in mind. Maybe taking on board some of Bryce's techniques with the Rack might get the right look for a snake... I know exactly how (...) (19 years ago, 10-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mecha: Talon

Nice. The Bley/Grey look works well on a mech. It gives it that metallic utilitarian look. This mech says it means business - and is design for close range destruction (with the large heavy weight arms - good for smashing), while having serious (...)
