That's really quite true, in a comical sort of way. And it makes me laugh every
time. I think that a build-off is quite the appropriate outlet for your....
distaste for each other. Why not compromise on 18 inches? (What's an additional
six inches between friends? Eric, I'm sure you'll hardly notice.) And yes, some
people do have other obligations than the Lego hobby. C'mon. Cowboy up and get
this thing started!
