I’m not going to take issue with the rest of this, but stolen? I think Stefan’s edits, if anything, highlight the expressive quality of the poses.

But aren’t those types of edits the right of the creator alone?

Actually, they’re covered under fair use. The parody/satire clause, IIRC.

I wouldn’t have posted them, myself,

Why not?

Because I’m not interested in a shitstorm.

but I don’t think they’re some kind of crime.

No “crime”, but put it this way: how would you feel if somebody posted pics of their recreation of this with a lewd caption on it?

I’d laugh my ass off. Besides, I’ve done far worse (warning, really messed up adult content) than that myself - if they can top it, my hat’s off to them.

lol Okaay, wrong guy to ask:-)

In fact, open challenge, right now - if you can do something funnier and more lewd than that in the next 24 hours, I’ll apologize on Stefan’s behalf.

Thanks for the offer, but that isn’t really my cup of tea.

You might think it’s hilarious, OR you might be deeply offended. The point is, the poster doesn’t really care what you think. That’s disrespectful, and it’s bad form, that’s all.

That can be said of any parody or satire - and until we hear from the builder, I don’t think you should be making a value judgment in their place.

Well, there’s a fair chance the builder doesn’t even speak English...

And I think that you might even agree, having said that you wouldn’t have posted them yourself.

I wouldn’t post them because I don’t see the need to give people like you a reason to screw their rectums a notch tighter.

Seems to me like you have an axe to grind

Really. And what do you suppose it is?

-you mind taking that somewhere else? I hear JLUG is the place for drama these days.

Honestly, I have no idea what you are talking about. Look, this is a family-friendly forum, that’s all. I have no axes to grind, but for to keep places like LUGNET free of that kind of material. Is that so sinister?

JOHN
