Amazing! There is so much to say about this build. Where do I start? The Head: Wow, talk about grills! The shape of the back of the head is cool and you hinged the dishes for the eyes! I like it. Only a face a mother or Mecha builders would love! (...) (19 years ago, 10-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Hey, this is interesting - it caught my eye on Brickshelf. I imagine that, being "only" 19 inches tall and loaded with worm gears, this model is pretty stable. I was a little perplexed at first by the wide hips, but now I see this is more of a (...) (19 years ago, 11-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

The jointed feet really show the effectiveness of the concept: (URL) They seem to have forced the ankle joint halfway up the calf, which is a little weird, from a humanoid standpoint, but works for a mech. The waist and hips are a real worm gear (...) (19 years ago, 11-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) I'll echo the comments of others on the lower legs, you're getting a really nice effect there. It's really a great color scheme, with the light gray indicating mechanical function and the blue being primarily armor plating--very logical. I (...) (...) Hi Marco, That is one sweet looking mech. Large posable mechs are tough to design well, but yours is up there with the best! Well done. The Shogun mech sure was a great mech for insiration. Thanks for spending the time creating a moc page too, (...) (19 years ago, 12-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Hmmm...What can I say that someone hasn't already posted? Well, I need to highlight the creative cockpit construction. I like it a lot....may have to adapt something like it in a future design. Excellent work , Marco! -Jon (19 years ago, 12-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
  Re: Nwe MOC: Goliath

(...) I'll start with the "bad"...Mechawarrior type mecha just isn't my thing. Now the good... I really really like the hips and waist. You did a great job of compacting all those turntables and gears and such. And you blended the System parts into (...) (19 years ago, 12-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
  Re: MOC: Goliath

(...) Hi folks, during Bricking Bavaria last weekend Goliath dropped backwards onto a window ledge. It was a complete damage. A lot of the internal frame construction was torn apart. I decided not to repair it. Today I disassembled what was left and (...) (18 years ago, 17-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
