I dunno E, this isn't all that funny, it's actually pretty darn cool.
I know your aversion to weapons but this is an awesome build for mecha. A
little modding to the head for a cockpit, a few weapons, and (dare I say) you
have a pretty sweet and innovative sci-fi/anime worthy design. Again, I know it
won't be polished Anime like some, but really the idea is sound. You're goofing
off and come up with this. Someone (maybe even me, tonight is build night)
could take this and run with it. Good job.
But sorry, that was a rant. This looks a little rough and a tad plain. I'm
guessing you're goofing off and come up with a cool design. Throw it out there
and see what flies, right? For me this is doubly cool because it doesn't use
bionicle parts. It would be really easy to do this with the ball joints, but
no. You go old school Technic. (Especially with the toothed 1/2 bushings)
That makes this more CS for me as well.
Break the mold E. Greeble it, cover the sections just a hair more (something
on the connecting axles or pins maybe?) and <gasp> put a couple of Mladen/Soren
style rifles on there somewhere and you got something sweet.
OR
Bust out the color. Go for realism and find greens/yellows/reds or diamonds and
make something you can wrap on your hand for the local Herp show.
I dunno man, not funny, not funny at all. Just cool.

| Robot Snake I built last night for fun - wanted to try out an idea to add treds to the bottom to aid in locomotion - Technic toggle joints provides movement in all directions. (URL) Enjoy, (URL) e (19 years ago, 13-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
