Greetings all!

So, without further rambling I present to you, The Talon!

You're so kind to your mech pilots, giving them a way to climb in and out of the
cockpit!  A well-armed mech, maxing out the medium weight class tonnage, this
looks like one I'd pick to play in a video game (when do we get a MW5?  It's
been forever since MW4.)

I like those feet, without the rear "toe", these would make good Daishi feet.
Improvements in your technique abound--careful reduction of unnecessary studs
and slots, tighter colors, a more natural stance/pose, nice aggressive
proportions.  I also like the Alpha Team targeting screen mounted inside of the
cockpit--a nice touch of realism and extra effort.

Since I don't forsee myself changing the scale of my projects anytime soon, I'm
focusing more on the detail work.

I like the sand blue, too.

I just found out by playing with the lego digital designer over the weekend,
that TLG is referring to that color as medium blue.

I'd suggest, with this particular scheme, sprinkling
in a few yellow highlights--grill tiles,

Unfortunately my pics don't show some of the grill tiles on this mech.
Where the toes meet the leg, there are grill tiles, and on the side of the leg
where the ladder system is located, there is a computer panel to make the ladder
rungs lower from their storage position tucked in at the ankle.

missile warheads, or maybe one solid armor section.

There are a few behind the cockpit canopy. Maybe for my next project I'll
actually do a large missile rack!

snip

(Not that I'm suggesting you revise the Talon,
'cuz I rarely do that myself after posting, but just a suggestion if you use
those colors again).

Duly noted , Kyle

Thanks ever so much for the comments and praise!
Can't wait to see what ya build next.

-Jon
