8865? Yeah, works very well, and better yet has standard axle holes. So
you can mount any wheel on them. The only hassle is that you get two
in each 8865, so you need to buy tow copies. And it's really hard to
get drive through the hole.

Not noticably - there's no gap between the white bit that holds the axle
and the wheel, and if you use the 24x43 wheels the white bit actually goes
into the wheel a small amount, so there's not a lot of the torque you're
worried about. I built my big crane truck using those parts, and that had
considerable weight per wheel.

| (...) I dunno, I haven't got one. Moz should be able to answer that. I suspect that the weight of the body of the 8865 is a tad bit too large for this setup. I'm fearing that the front wheel axles will "twist", making the wheels stand out on the (...) (26 years ago, 27-Dec-98, to lugnet.build)
