It probably does, but this is an artifact of the length of the links,
not of the rack, right?
Anyway, if you had the 8858 or any other set that has the same steering
gear (8440, 8437, 8445?), you would notice that the setup is only
capable of very small steering angles, so the toe-in/toe-out probably
doesn't pose any significant problem. This is why I dislike this
steering setup, BTW.

So why didn't they change the length of the links, instead of making that small rack with ball joints? They could have reused the smaller links (...) (26 years ago, 27-Dec-98, to lugnet.build)
