That's probably not possible. There does exist some other steering
gears, though, which can accommodate ordinary technic wheels. I'm
refering to the steering gears used on the 8865

These fit directly in the blue suspension braces, but you cannot get
steering wheel drive that way.

| (...) If I only had those pieces. Or if I had a 8858...... I would love to have some good suspension parts. I was thinking of attempting to use two 8417's to make a nice hotrod. But lack of good (specialized) pieces holds me back. I saw on your site (...) (26 years ago, 18-Dec-98, to lugnet.build)
