I don't mind building the first iterations of a model in random colours, but I do like to know where I can find the piece I am missing. Play well, Jacob (...) It may be because I don't have as many pieces as many of you guys, but once mine are sorted into the kind of part they are, it is very easy for the eye to pick out the color I want. | | | | | It's an interesting point you have made with seeing the colour you want. I sort basic bricks by colour and everything else by form. | | | | (...) I sort by form and color. I have LEGO storage drawers (5225, 545, etc.). Each drawer is a color. 1 drawer for each color of 1x, 2x and plates. I also have drawers for miscellaneous elements by color: expanders, roofs, 5 tall bricks, rounds, (...) (25 years ago, 5-Nov-99, to lugnet.build)
