Well, I do both, an one to an extreme! I sort all BASIC bricks, plates and
bricks, by color and form. So I have one (or multiples) of drawers for white 1x1
bricks, etc. All the other non BASIC bricks, I sort by shape as well. The color
doesn't matter too much, I can tell within a few seconds if I have a particular
color or not.
