To the best of my recollection (card collecters feel free to correct me) I
was under the impression that PVC album pages caused a chemical reaction
with things like coins and cards. I believe they are more acidic or
something, but definitely NOT good for your collectibles. That's why most
pages today are advertised on the box as being PVC-free.
