Ralph, I made a mosaic about that size this year. Here are my suggestions. First, I attached the baseplates to a wood backing (8'x6') using extra strengh liquid nails. (...) Hot glue works well and you can peel it off the baseplates later on but it still has a high sheer strength. All, I've got a pretty big (5x8 48 stud baseplate) mosaic that needs to be on permanent display at our local hospital. The ones along the edges and especially in the corners are less stable and will occasionally fall off in transit, but they are no where near as unstable as flower stems on their (...) Wow, I'm speechless! I wish you had posted these earlier - I have a bunch of non-AFOL furniture designers in my CAD class who were looking for something to draw for my LEGO assignment.. i too was fortunate to experience my first lego/train show at railfair 27 held in ottawa this past weekend - an experience that needs to be repeated more than once a year. the group worked well together, orchestrating the layout with smooth (...) Can sonar "see" around objects? Can it detect, for example, a sub hiding on the other side of a reef or similar underwater obstacle? Here's why I'm asking: The kitchenette in my office is around the corner and down a hall, so I can't see when (...)
