I don't know what to say. The idea and MOC is simple and effective, a really cool MOC. I can easily see it done with a "glowing" trans orange 1 x 1 round plate and perhaps a gray one too. Easy, use Megablocks. Then you don't care how bad you melt, beat, cut, hack, dismember, burn, discolor, paint, etc... Or, if you're me, do it from Lego just to hear the screams of purists... Nice model, very simlilar to the superior gundam in several senses. If i may critique however it think the shoulders and arms could use a bit more detail. The arms also seem a bit skinny. It's still enourmous for a Technic fig, but looks a little more to scale than a minifig on a turbocycle. While Bram was at my house building his II-Blade, I set to work on my first Technic Fig scale bike. Ostensibly it's a turbocycle, and part of my turbocycle league. I tried to disguise the seam connecting the halves by not making it straight... it kinda worked. the wings are not very well connected to the body, and tend (...) Thanks for the feedback. What i was trying to do with the modular mech idea was exactly what you said, allow freedom to customize models based on what they can carry.I am trying to make each new part different from the others. Hi Magnus- I like this vehicle a lot. You definately captured the look and feel of typical IFV's. There's some nice work with hinges and such to create the angled armor panels, and the turret is well done, too. (I like the rocket launcher (...) (22 years ago, 18-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Hi, Great work there... I like the Deus mech in particular. The Wolf Legs are awsome! I don't mind sacrificing some manouvrability for armour, seems like a fair swap in my opinion, especially when it looks so good, (Crust legs!) I really like the (...) A few weeks ago i sprung an idea to do a mecha idea similar to moonbase using modular mecha parts. Well, here are some parts i made, using my Argos mech as a base i built a new set of arms, 2 new sets of legs, and a new head. I also put together 2 (...) The more I think about it, the more convinced I am that the only thing that truly qualifies a Battle Droid to be the leader is the yellow detailing.
