Thanks for the feedback. What i was trying to do with the modular mech idea was exactly what you said, allow freedom to customize models based on what they can carry.I am trying to make each new part different from the others. For example, when i make a new torso, it will probably have lots of option slots to put weapons on the torso itself, but it will be rather heavy, meaning you will need to either put light arms and weapons, or really heavy legs that can support a big load, the edge only has 1 on the back (For a big gun) and 1 on each shoulder, so it is rather light, and doesnt necessarily need heavy legs.

As for the standardization of the parts i think that would work also. Although i dont want to make things too strict. If you notice, all the arms are connected to the shoulders by the click hinge pin. and the legs are connecteds to the torso with a pin as well.As long as the parts look like they fit on a mech (or maybe not) and if they fit on other mecha they should work fine.

Hi, Great work there... I like the Deus mech in particular. The Wolf Legs are awsome! I don't mind sacrificing some manouvrability for armour, seems like a fair swap in my opinion, especially when it looks so good, (Crust legs!) I really like the (...)
