Hi Again!
Thanks for all feedback on my first few Mecha designs. This is the latest
one, insipred somewhat by the SG Mecha by Ryoichi Takagaki...

Very nice build. You cant go past Japanese builders for inspiration. I dont
know how they do it, and my own attempts never come close. You, however, have
done better by far than I ever have. Youve achieved a solid design with the
ecnomomy of parts use and smooth, studless exterior that just screams Japanese
Mech to me. Is this really youre second mecha? Yikes! :)
Indeed, and the Technic Brick 2 x 2 x 2
with Hole and Click Rotation Socket works well with them and makes it easier
to combine it with regular bricks.

Loads better than the ball joint method. The friction is better and it stays
put! Only downer is I only have 1 ! lol. But I shall soon have Cadhok &
Gahdok (8558) which has 12 of these puppies!!!
|
Or theres always bricklink.

This has been done to perfection by Chris Snead in his armature design. This
is where I will go next I think, as Dave Johann said the Glamature is prone
to rag-dolling so the poseability suffers.

Try paper in the ball joints.

Cheers again for all feedback!

Thanks for sharing.
