I've noticed recently that the mecha in this group keep getting snottier and snottier. Hey I'm all for pushing the limits and such, but some of these creations are soooo snotty. I really did the red&white canopy. Those 1x6x31/2 arches are among my favorite pieces. 6 months ago I would have salivated at the use of so many, but I have a lot now as well, thanks to Brickbay (although my supply for new buildings is pretty low - (...) I have the same problem, I must have dozen of old heads that have been rubbed clean over the years. I would like to put new faces on them, but have done next to no brick modification or painting; and have no idea how to go about this. Can someone (...)   New MOC's: MAN Tipper & Volvo wheel loader
 
Last couple of months I have been working on two models. The first model is a five-axle tipper. Modelled after a MAN 48.422. The second model is a wheel loader. Wow! Excellent job Joel. This is one of the very, very few times I've seen the grey-white-dark-grey colour scheme ACTUALLY work... Rick Go here (URL) here (URL) mark 48 is actually about 2.5 decks high, of course they are stored and fired horizontally :-) They measure about 19 feet. I have completed a minifig scale version of the M400 Skycar by Moller International. (URL) model contains various SNOT (Studs Not On Top) techniques, with several 2-3-4-5 and "half stud" transformations in a small space. The front nacelles and nose (...) For the past 6 months, I have avoided this newsgroup ( lugnet.build.arch ) , on the basis that building things with arches was a bit restrictive, and anyway, I don't have enough arches to do anything interesting. Actually, Larry, it can be viewed as most appropriate of John Neal to post to .train. I kindly direct you to model rr mags which routinely feature articles on buildings related to train layouts. Looks nice. The see-through nature of the thin-walls make it seem a little too "empty" though. I know how you feel about exteriors coming before interiors, but you might want to try doing a little something, perhaps in the lobby, just to make it (...) Although this building is new to the net, I actually began building it last year after a huge sale of 4561s from Walmart. The building took all of the 1x2x3 trans light blue thin wall elements from over 40 sets (I've forgotten how many came in each (...)
