1. What model do you recommend that LEGO Star Wars launches in October 2009 as
celebration of LEGO Star Wars 10th anniversary?

Luke's uncle's house. Minifig scale, with lift-off roof and full interior
detail. Since much of it is underground, feel free to surround the bottom
of it with tan BURPs/LURPs to fake the underground aspect. Include the
shop area with a droid in the oil bath if there is budget for it.

2. Should it be a model in minifigure scale or a big display model?

If you go with this, then it would be both.

3. Which key characters / minifigs should be included if the model is minifigure
scale?

Luke, his aunt and uncle, R2D2 and C3PO.

4. What key functions should be included?

Lift-off roof piece(s). Perhaps a winch over the oil bath. UCS models
don't generally have a lot of functionality. I might have bought the
new Millenium Falcon if it had full interior detail.
