LEGO has asked the Ambassadors to gather information for a new Star Wars set.
Please leave your comments/ideas, and we will pass them on to TLG. Thanks.

LEGO Star Wars will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2009. It is been 10 fantastic, very successful years, with great models, and very loyal and engaged fans. Thank you for your support and enthusiasm throughout all those years ! To celebrate our anniversary we would like to develop a special Ultimate Collector model at retail price of around 150 USD/EUR. We would like to get your ideas, input as to what model would celebrate our anniversary best and express best LEGO Star Wars values. We are collecting input from different sources including Lucasfilm team. Therefore we can not commit that any model suggested by fans will be launched in 2009, if there is an awesome novelty coming out of Lucasfilm studios. Please share your ideas by answering the following questions:

1. What model do you recommend that LEGO Star Wars launches in October 2009 as celebration of LEGO Star Wars 10th anniversary?

2. Should it be a model in minifigure scale or a big display model?

3. Which key characters / minifigs should be included if the model is minifigure scale?

4. What key functions should be included?

Thank you.

I think a Star Wars version of (URL) 3723 LEGO Mini-Figure> (retail price $150) would be perfect. A few years ago (URL) LEGO auctioned a similar statue of Jango Fett>. I don't think you could choose just one character who epitomizes Star Wars, so (...) (16 years ago, 23-Jan-08, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

I have 2 suggestions: 1.A Darth Vader bust or sculpture similar in size and price point to the darth maul bust (URL) set of 2 smallish sets that together make up the Death Star Detention Block. Set 1 contains the elevators and guard station plus the (...) (16 years ago, 24-Jan-08, to lugnet.ambassadors)

(...) I would like to see Luke's land speeder with R2D2, C3PO, Ben and Luke in LEGOLAND Miniland scale. Maybe with a spring suspension on three wheels to give it a "floaty" feel. just my 2 cents, Darrin (16 years ago, 24-Jan-08, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)
Re: LEGO Star Wars Anniversary Set - Help Decide

I vividly remember back in 1999 first seeing the LEGO logo for Episode I ((URL)) and being really excited for the minifigs that looked to be in production. Well forward 10 years and we still do not have that cool looking Queen Amidala figure with (...) (16 years ago, 24-Jan-08, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

(...) Luke's uncle's house. Minifig scale, with lift-off roof and full interior detail. Since much of it is underground, feel free to surround the bottom of it with tan BURPs/LURPs to fake the underground aspect. Include the shop area with a droid (...) I'd like to see the minifig scale Lars homestead with Luke, Owen, Beru C-3PO, R2-D2 & 2 Jawas. The 'dome home' should be big enough to open to show a table (new 4x4 circle plate) with 3 trans blue cups (for blue milk), white kitchen, a computer,& a (...) (...) I think this is a difficult question to answer, as there have been so many great sets and innovations that have come from the star wars line. Here's my idea: A playset re-creation of the Death Star trench battle from Episode IV. I'd love to see two minifig X-wings (Luke and Wedge), with Vader's Tie Fighter, and a semi-built up trench (read--LOTS of er..new..gray), perhaps with a turret or (...) I’d suggest that instead of yet another minifig-based set (which you can do any time you want), go for something that you otherwise might not do. The first thing that springs to mind is a sculpture of Darth Vader and Luke dueling with lightsabers, (...) (16 years ago, 24-Jan-08, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Do not under any circumstances choose a set with Ewoks. The Ewok celebration is the anticlimax of Star Wars. A commemorative set should remind us of all that is good about Star Wars and Lego. How about a scene that has not yet been done, with all (...) (16 years ago, 25-Jan-08, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX) !

Queen Amidala's royal starship in CHROME

Many Star Wars fans have been clamoring for a Queen Amidala mini-fig in one of her royal outfits for years. This would be an opportunity to make that happen. (...) It's a long shot and might be hard to pull off as a single kit, but I'd like to see a minifig-scale Order 66 diorama set, with the recreations of the scenes in Revenge of the Sith where the various Jedi get taken out. It'd be a good (...) (16 years ago, 19-Feb-08, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)
