  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) What's wrong with outsourcing to India? (17 years ago, 2-Aug-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX) !

Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

(...) Your charge was that all the Ambassadors are quiet. They are not quiet. And to clarify what I meant by "wide" - what I do not mean is that Ambassadors should visit sites that they would never had visited in the first place. For example: as (...)   Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

(...) Or how many in the same community were upset that Lego put out the Barbie Knights in the first season of the Knights Kingdom II line. Ben M. (17 years ago, 1-Aug-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) I think I am missing something here... this "becoming known as the largest mistake TLG has made"? I think you mean not saving 9V trains - but it isn't actually made yet. And people would argue that the colour change was, or the introduction of (...) (17 years ago, 31-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

I speak to Jipay from time to time when he's online (haven't seen him lately to tell you the truth). I want to say that we haven't intentionally discriminated against EB, but we simply haven't been able to take some of the people who have applied (...)   Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

I must say I felt a bit hamstrung when LEGO Fan crashed because that's where the blog I was trying to get established was. it was a bit disheartening to tell you the truth. That's going to change soon and I'll have a specific spot to throw out (...) (17 years ago, 31-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

Its certainly not a bad thing for you to mention Nathan's involvement as he was very valuable to that project. Also speaking about your role isn't a bad thing either, here's the reason why there's usually some hesitation when it comes to working on (...)   Re: The Official "Issues List"

Nelson / Richie, Thanks again for posting this list, and for your diligent work as LEGO Ambassadors. (I hope that you get paid for it) I think I also need to say that I am appalled by 9V Trains not being on the original list. Are you guys (...) (17 years ago, 31-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

(...) A very good point. I was just thinking the other day about how there's no good way to model the most common types of windows one sees in real houses. The only commonly available windows from LEGO today are the 1x4x3 shape, whereas in real life (...) (17 years ago, 31-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) Well, the end of 9V trains would mean no change to my involvement in the hobby: no change to my purchasing patterns, no change to the amount of stuff I build, and so on. By contrast, for example, if a portion of the product range is not (...) (17 years ago, 31-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX) !!

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) I just took a look at the current list (from (URL) right?) and I think there is a good reason to place 9V ahead of all of those issues: If none of those issues are addressed by LEGO, there is no change. If the 9V trains issue is not addressed, (...) (17 years ago, 31-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) Somebody else explained it elsewhere in the thread - control. Some people within TLG are still gunshy about how and when and where information is released. And the time that I was able to announce something as an Ambassador, well, (URL) it (...) (17 years ago, 31-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) What's the story with this? Sounds like they're passing up some very cheap, very targeted advertising opportunities there. Allister (17 years ago, 31-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) Well, community members have been repeatedly raising all the other issues on the list... So, should we ignore them and put saving 9V trains to number 1 regardless of what community members are actually bringing to our attention and asking us (...)   Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) I guess I just expected that the ambassadors would make it their job to know what the top issues are for the LEGO community without us having to nag them. (17 years ago, 31-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) Excellent idea friend. (...) In my opinion this "issues" list *is* a wish list as it is a list of the things the AFOL community would like Lego to correct. However I am a little dissapointed in this list as it is all complaints. Not that I (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) I'm kind of surprised at the level of discussion about this list - although not too surprised, I guess, this being Lugnet. But I would've expected this amount of disagreement about the first such "issues list" presented to TLG by the (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) Of course not *all* fans share *all* the concerns. I assume(d) noone would have even expected a list with such criteria, since such a list would be clearly empty - for each and every concern I am quite positive there is a fair amount of people (...)   Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) Not at all. I'm merely just speaking for myself. The 'issue' list supposedly represents fans concerns. I'm just pointing out that maybe not all fans, certainly not this one, share those concerns. I'm not asking for the list to be edited, if (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)
