I am not the original complainant but I have the same problem (Win 98/IE 5.5) The file is ql.js. If I choose "run from current location" the following error window pops up: "Script: c:\windows\Temporary Internet Files\content.IE5\CS...R\ql[2].js (...) Given the scarcity of viruses, and the variety I got infected with, the KAK Worm virus, it would seem appropriate that your news server should reject infected email and news postings that contain such HTML. I don't know if it does it but I was (...) (26 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) Todd, I tried quickset, but other applications kept stealing the browser window it ran in. It just wasn't as convienent for me as being on LUGNET's main page.
